- You can call me "Mother T." I am a follower of Christ, a praying woman. Thirty years ago I left my LA childhood home. I didn't want to go, didn't want a strange culture and certainly didn't want to fall for Christ. But God is far wiser than I. I became a wife, a mother, a writer, a believer. I didn't want to come back to LA. I questioned His plan again. Now I'm thinking LA needs my small prayers. It's been a shock to see the spirit of violence that has covered the city like a fog. Reading the Homicide Report Blog at the LA Times inspired this blog. It will take a prayer-powered wind to blow away the layers of despair and anger that shroud the city.
